A Little Bit About GOLDA CLARKIN BOECK
Early Years
Golda was born and raised in Denver, Colorado.
She was given piano, accordion, and organ lessons by her parents who made her practice! Golda turned "professional" at age 12 when she played for her first wedding! She did all sorts of volunteer music work throughout the city of Denver, Veterans hospitals, service groups, community concerts. She played in a jazz band. Played for vocal choruses; played for school activities; she played on the radio; played piano for a dance school; played piano and organ for the 6th Church of Christ Science; played piano for the music department of a Denver store; and the list goes on and on.
Education
Golda graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Finance and a minor in Music and Literature.
Children and Grandchildren
Golda has raised two fabulous children....now grown, and she has 5 fantastic grandchildren!
Real Estate Professional
Golda’s current career is in real estate where she has been very successful.
Golda has been with Frank Howard Allen Real Estate in the Belvedere-Tiburon office since 1975. She is a full-time professional, consistent top producer and recipient of the "Presidents Award of Distinction", since 1980. She is a licensed Real Estate Broker.
Volunteer Work
Golda’s activities include her involvement as a volunteer with Driftwood Unit of Marin foundation, which is a fund raising group that gives all their proceeds to Whistle Stop Wheels. Golda is involved with the Saint Francis Animal Protection Society, primarily as a fund raiser but occasionally as a "foster mom" to dog(s) and cat(s). There is often a rescue dog/cat at her house along with her dog and 3 cats. Golda is also involved in the All Creatures Animal Protection Society. And, Golda is a member of the Belvedere Community Foundation.
